Install the feedback widget
The widget is one script tag. These guides show where it goes in each setup, and what the agent can change in that kind of project afterwards.
Updated
Before you start
- Sign in with GitHub and install the feedback2code GitHub App. Choose the repository that holds the code of the site.
- Open the repository in the dashboard, go to Configure and add the domains the widget may run on.
- Copy the snippet from Embed Widget. It contains your widget ID.
The snippet
<script src="https://www.feedback2code.dev/widget/YOUR_WIDGET_ID" async></script>The script loads asynchronously and mounts the widget in an iframe at the bottom right of the page. It has to be a normal script tag, not a module.

After the first deploy
- Open the site on an authorized domain and look for the button at the bottom right.
- Send a small, concrete request, for example a wording change in a headline.
- Watch the status in your dashboard go from coding to awaiting review, then open the pull request on GitHub.
The test counts towards your quota like any other submission. What the website feedback widget collects and what happens next is described on its own page.
Questions and answers
Is there an npm package or a plugin?
No. The widget is a single script tag that works the same way in every setup. The guides only differ in where the tag goes.
My framework is not listed. Can I still use the widget?
Yes. Anything that ends up as an HTML page can load the widget. Add the script tag to the template or layout that every page shares.
Why does the widget not appear on my site?
Check three things: the domain is on the list of authorized domains, the widget ID in the snippet matches the one in your dashboard, and no Content-Security-Policy or ad blocker stops scripts and frames from www.feedback2code.dev.
Does the agent support my language?
The agent works in a Linux sandbox on whatever is in the repository. JavaScript and TypeScript projects are the best fit, because the sandbox can install packages from the npm registry.
